Busy weekend

Hello and hope you had a fantastic and relaxing weekend. I had a really busy one and didn't have as much time as I wanted to play with my gorgeous new SU starter kit! I managed one card to add to a sample board I'm making. For this one I've used the 'Botanical Blooms' set. The flowers and leaves have been stamped with my versamark pad on to Whisper White Card and then embossed with some gold embossing powder. This has been layered on to Regal Rose and Old Olive Card. I've used my SU markers in Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink and Old Olive. The Whiper White Ribbon has been coloured with Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose markers to try and achieve a two-tone efffect on the ribbon, not as visible on the photo though! Thanks so much for looking and I hope you have a lovely week.

I've done it!!

Hello! Hope you're all really well and having a lovely week! Well I'm soooooo excited as I'm now a Stampin' Up! demonstrator! My gorgeous box of goodies has been tried and tested and the products are amazing! I've made a few cards to share with you and I'm sure I'll then be crafting whenever I can fit it it in over this coming weekend!
This one has been made using the 'Fun and fast notes' set and the little hedgehog and flutterby! I love this one and chose it mainly for the hedgehog and little bird, so versatile! Here he is:
I've also used the 'It's Beautiful' Jumbo Wheel and diamond glazed to highlight the blooms. The sentiment is from the 'Circle Of Friendship' set. The colours I've chosen are Real Red, Certainly Celery, and whisper white with a few crystals here and there (none SU but are a very close match to Certainly Celery!) and some Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon.

And another! This little Giraffe is from the 'Wild about you' set and it's gorgeous! I've used Regal Rose, Certainly Celery (for the grass!), Bashful Blue, Always Artichoke and Whisper White...Phew! The dotty circles are from the 'Seeing Spots' set. I've also used some flowers and pearls from the 'Pretties Kit' and some Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon. The Regal Rose background has been cuttlebugged with my Swiss Dots folder and the sentiment is from the ever useful 'Circle Of Friendship'.
Thank you so much for looking and I'll be back again soon!

New beginnings

Hello! I've been a bit busy! I've loads of news to share and have also been busy creating some Stampin' Up samples and several cards for friends.
For the first card I've used the retired 'Unfrogettable set'. This set is fantastic and is still available (whilst stock last) so grab it while you can!! The colours used are Old Olive, Bashful Blue, More Mustard and some Chocolate Chip (yum!) for the snail!
The second card is for a friend at work who has recently passed lots of exams. The colours used are Regal Rose for the card base, Rose Red, Bashful Blue, and So Saffron. The stamp set is 'Cheers to you' I've used the SU Scallop Border punch and then punched some circles with my Crop-ADile then blinged these up a bit with some SU dazzling diamonds! The stitched ribbon isn't SU but I think it goes really well with the colours. Thanks so much for looking xxx
